Psychologist

Beth is a compassionate and highly skilled psychologist who brings extensive experience in alcohol and other drug (AOD) support, mental health treatment, and recovery-focused counselling. With formal qualifications including a Bachelor of Psychology and Addiction Studies (double major, Edith Cowan University) and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Murdoch University), she combines strong clinical knowledge with a genuine passion for holistic wellbeing.

Beth has worked across a range of therapeutic and community settings, supporting individuals facing harmful AOD use as well as complex co-occurring mental health concerns such as trauma, PTSD/C-PTSD, mood disorders, anxiety, personality vulnerabilities, and eating disorders. Her background includes psychological assessment, clinical formulation, treatment planning, and the delivery of evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction principles, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Skilled in both individual counselling and group facilitation, Beth provides a grounded, supportive, and culturally sensitive presence for clients. She is known for her ability to build trust, communicate with clarity and empathy, and create a safe therapeutic environment where people feel genuinely heard and supported.

Beth is deeply aligned with the holistic philosophy of Six Seasons Recovery. She believes in addressing the mind, body, and emotional wellbeing together, tailoring each recovery journey to the unique strengths and needs of the individual.
