Kerstin is a yoga and mindfulness teacher whose work is grounded in nervous-system education and accessible movement, delivered with a trauma-aware approach. Her interest in this work began during a challenging period in her life, when yoga helped her regain clarity, emotional steadiness and a sense of agency. This experience led her to complete comprehensive training in yoga and mindfulness, and to explore the deeper teachings that support healing and self-awareness.
Her teaching weaves together a blend of yoga styles, restorative practices, yoga nidra, breathwork, mindfulness and self-inquiry. She is committed to creating safe, non-judgemental environments where people of all backgrounds, bodies and lived experiences can reconnect with themselves at their own pace. She also has a personal interest in Ayurveda, which continues to inform aspects of her understanding of wellbeing.
Apart from her work with adults, Kerstin also supports young people in developing emotional resilience and practical tools for wellbeing early in life. She is passionate about bringing these practices into schools and community settings to support students, educators and families.
Outside her work, she can often be found outdoors—gardening, spending time by the beach, running or exploring the bush with her family.
